Accessibility
The tower is not accessible for wheelchair users or visitors unable to climb stairs. Interpreters and personal assistants are welcome free of charge with a reserved seat. Please contact us in advance. Assistance and guide dogs are not permitted.
Safety
Tower visits cannot take place during thunderstorms. Rain does not affect tours. If a tour must be cancelled due to weather, we will contact you by text message.

Kallio Church Tower Safety instructions
The tower of Kallio Church is open to the public. To ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone, please read and follow these instructions. By purchasing or otherwise obtaining access to the tower, visitors agree to comply with the following safety instructions.
1. Visitors enter and move around the tower at their own risk.
2. Access to the tower is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. Visitors must have sufficient physical and mental capacity to visit the tower. The tower guide always has the right to assess whether a visitor meets the required conditions for entry.
3. Large bags and backpacks must be left in a designated area for the duration of the visit. Due to the varying stair materials, high-heeled shoes pose a safety risk and are not recommended.
4. Visits are conducted in groups of no more than ten people, accompanied by two guides. This ensures safety in situations where, for example, a group member needs to interrupt or end their tour early.
5. Visitors are expected to behave respectfully to help ensure the safety and comfort of everyone.
6. Visitors are liable for any damage they cause to the property or its surroundings. Throwing any objects from the tower is strictly prohibited.
7. In the event of any exceptional incident during a tower visit, all official communications will be handled by the relevant authorities and the Church.
The routes used during the visit are primarily maintenance access routes. Kallio Church Tower has been opened for tourism purposes in consultation with the city of Helsinki Rescue Department and the property department of the Helsinki Parish Union.
